The most commonly applied specification is ASTM A276, which includes both hot-finished and cold-finished bars. Due to its good features such as 1) high precision (tolerance can be ±0.01mm at minimum), 2) bright and smooth finish, 3) corrosion resistance, high tensile strength and anti-fatigue strength, stainless steel hex bars are widely used for producing machined components such as hex bolts, hex nuts and hex plugs. In addition, SS hex bars are used for auto parts, elevators, kitchenware, pressure vessels and other promising industries for they are environment friendly and for their long service life.
